LEED
At SCJ we strive to improve project efficiency and overall sustainability. What makes a project LEED? In general, LEED promotes a whole-building/whole-site approach to sustainability. To become a certified LEED project you need to obtain a certain amount of points, earned through a number of ways including construction waste reduction, reducing water and energy consumption, and using low-emitting materials, among many others.
Three SCJ staff are LEED AP BD+C certified, and another team member is a certified Professional Soil Scientist and Professional Wetlands Scientist. We are well positioned to help you reduce your project’s environmental footprint and help it become LEED certified.
