SCJ provided civil engineering and landscape architecture design services for Station #34, located next to the Regional Athletic Center (RAC) in Lacey. SCJ initially assisted the Lacey Fire District #34 with a feasibility analysis to secure bond funding. This included oversight of several studies and determining potential mitigation requirements related to the Asarco arsenic plume. The district secured bond funding for a new, approximately 11,625-square-foot fire station, with 37 new parking spaces and a 2,430-square-foot addition to an existing vehicle repair facility. Once the bonding was secured, SCJ provided engineering design support including grading, drainage, and utility design. SCJ also provided landscape and irrigation design.
